Before you use the resetter, make sure the printer is in "SERVICE MODE"

Procedure for service mode: for IP 3680, IP 4680, IP 4790

1. Plug in power Cable
2. With the printer power turned off, Press and hold CANCEL button and Press the POWER ON BUTTON, ( Do not Release the buttons)
3. when the power led lights in green, while holding the POWER ON button, release CANCEL button. ( Do not release the POWER ON button)
4. Press CANCEL button twice.
 5. Release the POWER ON button

Procedure for service mode: for IP 2770, IP 4870, IP 4970

1. Plug in power Cable
2. With the printer power turned off, Press and hold CANCEL button and Press the POWER ON BUTTON, ( Do not Release the buttons)
3. when the power led lights in green, while holding the POWER ON button, release CANCEL button. ( Do not release the POWER ON button)
4. Press CANCEL button 5 times.
 5. Release the POWER ON button






  • Plug in power cable
  • With the printer power turned off,while pressing RESUME/CANCEL button,press and hold the POWER ON button. (Do not release the buttons)
  • When the Power LED lights in green,while holding the POWER ON button,release RESUME/CANCEL button. (Do not release the POWER ON button)
  • Press RESUME/CANCEL buttons 5 times. (Each time the RESUME/CANCEL button is pressed,the ALARM and POWER LED lights alternately. Alarm in orange and power in green).
  • When the POWER LED lights in green the printer is in service mode and ready for service operations.
